Vysota 239 pipes of ChTPZ meet international standards of DNV

In Autumn last year, ChTPZ Group, a Russian producer of welded and seamless steel pipes and tubes, initiated certification arrangements for the Vysota 239 pipe electric-welding workshop of Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant. Specialists from certification company Det Norske Veritas (DNV) have approved pipes of 1,020 mm diameter and 21.3 mm wall thickness of steel grade 485FD produced at Vysota 239. The successful international certification of Vysota 239 pipes according to DNV standards will provide additional possibilities for ChTPZ Group to participate in fuel and energy projects.
