Uzmetkombinat’s crude steel output up 0.7 percent in January-September

In January-September this year Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat's crude steel output rose by 0.7 percent year on year to 582,200 mt.

In addition, in the given period Uzmetkombinat registered a 0.8 percent growth in its rolled steel product output to 558,400 mt, including 424,800 mt of longs - up 0.5 percent, both compared to January-September 2009.
