According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 6,183 mt in January this year, up 38.7 percent from December and down 45.3 percent from January 2025. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $12.65 million in January, compared to $9.11 million in the previous month and $17.78 million in the same month of the previous year.
The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Mexico in January with 3,184 mt, compared to 2,414 mt in December and 4,235 mt in January 2025. The other top export destination was Canada with 2,818 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US structural pipe and tube exports in January.
