US steel plate AD/CVD orders to be revoked for Italy and Japan, maintained for others

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determinations Monday in the sunset review of the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and Korea

The ITC made negative determinations with regard to the AD and CVD orders on Italy and the AD order on Japan.  These decisions mean that the orders will be revoked by the US Department of Commerce (DOC)--probably within the next few weeks.

On the other hand, the ITC made affirmative determinations with regard to the AD and CVD orders on India, Indonesia and Korea.  Accordingly, these orders will remain in effect for a further period of five years.
