US standard pipe imports down 3.4 percent in April 2025

According to final census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of standard pipe totaled 66,749 mt in April this year, down 3.4 percent from March and up 4.6 percent year on year. By value, standard pipe imports totaled $69.4 million in April, compared to $69.2 million in March and $76.1 million in April last year.

The US imported the most standard pipe from Vietnam in April with 16,803 mt, compared to 8,949 mt in March and 3,584 mt in April last year. Other top sources of imported standard pipe in April include the UAE with 12,661 mt, Canada with 9,998 mt, Spain with 5,790 mt, and Thailand with 5,347 mt.
