According to final census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of standard pipe totaled 48,817 mt in February this year, down by 12.9 percent compared to January and down 16.0 percent year on year. By value, standard pipe imports totaled $47.26 million in February, compared to $53.34 million in January and $64.7 million in February last year.
The US imported the most standard pipe from the UAE in February with 12,525 mt, compared to 11,450 mt in January and 6,424 mt in February 2025. Other top sources of imported standard pipe in February include Canada with 8,800 mt, Thailand with 7,812 mt, South Korea with 4,527 mt, and Mexico with 3,719 mt.
