Early Wednesday, a group of US pipe and tube producers filed an antidumping and countervailing duty petition against square and rectangular pipe and tube from China, Korea, Mexico, and Turkey.

The petitioners include Allied Tube & Conduit; Atlas Tube; California Steel and Tube; EXLTUBE; Hannibal Industries; Leavitt Tube; Maruichi American Corporation; Searing Industries; Southland Tube; Vest Inc.; Welded Tube; and Western Tube.

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) will conduct its staff conference in this investigation during the third week of July, and will make its preliminary determination by mid August.

More details will be reported as they become available.
