According to preliminary census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 115,841 mt in February this year, up 24.6 percent from January and up 15.2 percent year on year. By value, OCTG imports totaled $129.96 million in February, compared to $113.44 million in January and $132.97 million in the same month in 2025.
The US imported the most OCTG from South Korea in February with 53,700 mt, compared to 31,492 mt in January and 16,559 mt in February 2025. Other top sources of imported OCTG in February include Vietnam with 13,507 mt, Canada with 12,257 mt, and the UAE with 10,509 mt.
