US OCTG exports up 30.7 percent in January 2026 from December

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 13,743 mt in January this year, up 30.7 percent from December and down 38.4 percent from January 2025. By value, OCTG exports totaled $31.16 million in January, compared to $28.5 million in the previous month and $37.77 million in the same month of 2025.

The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in January with 9,216 mt, compared to 7,153 mt in December and 19,362 mt in January 2025. Other top sources were Mexico with 1,639 mt and the UAE with 1,046 mt.
