US OCTG exports rise 30.6 percent in February

US exports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 27,485 mt in February, up 30.6 percent from January and up 7.2 percent from February 2016 levels. By value, OCTG exports totaled $48.6 million in February, compared to $35.9 million in the previous month and $65.0 million the same month last year.
 
The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in February, with 19,508 mt, compared to 16,463 mt in January and 12,940 mt in February 2016. Other top destinations included Venezuela, with 1,838 mt; and Mexico, with 1,366 mt.
