US line pipe imports up 8.3 percent in March 2026 from February

According to final census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of line pipe totaled 45,310 mt in March this year, up 8.3 percent from February and down 41.7 percent year on year. By value, line pipe imports totaled $48.05 million in March this year, compared to $44.35 million in February and $103.81 million in March 2025.

The US imported the most line pipe from South Korea in March with 27,844 mt compared to 30,308 mt in February and 33,321 mt in March 2025. Other top sources of imported line pipe in March include India with 7,194 mt, Mexico with 2,924 mt, and Ukraine with 1,581 mt.
