The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of the antidumping duty (AD) administrative review of steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Mexico for the period of review (POR) between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.

The DOC has preliminarily determined that the entity known as the Deacero Group, consisting of Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V. and I.N.G.E.T.E.K.N.O.S. Estructurales, S.A. de C.V., sold subject merchandise at less than normal value during the POR. The DOC has assigned the Deacero Group a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of 8.45 percent.

In addition, the DOC has rescinded this review with respect to Grupo Acerero S.A. de C.V., Grupo Simec S.A.B. de C.V. and its affiliates, and Sidertul S.A. de C.V., as the three companies had no reviewable suspended entries of subject merchandise during the POR.
