The US Department of Commerce (DOC) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping order against circular welded carbon steel pipe and tube (standard pipe) from Taiwan, and on Tuesday, it announced that it has rescinded the review with respect to three Taiwanese producers/exporters.

The review originally covered four companies - Shin Yang Steel Co., Ltd.; Chung Hung Steel Corp.; Kao Hsing Chang Iron & Steel Corp. (also known as Kao Hsiung Chang Iron & Steel Corp.); and Tension Steel Industries Co. Ltd. - during the period from May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.

Because the requests for review were withdrawn, the DOC has rescinded the reviews of Chung Hung, Kao Hsing, and Tension Steel as US Steel withdrew its requests for reviews of those companies.

The DOC will continue the review of Shin Yang.
