US DOC issues preliminary AD results on pipe from Romania

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on small diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line and pressure pipe from Romania

The review covers one Romanian producer - ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Roman S.A. (AMTP) - during the period from August 1, 2010 through July 16, 2011. The DOC has calculated a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of zero (0.00) percent for AMTP.

The Department plans to complete this administrative review by December 2012.  Until that time, the current dumping duty deposit rate will remain in effect. Any change in the deposit rate as a result of this review will become effective only when the DOC's final result is published in the Federal Register.
