The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its final determination in the antidumping investigation of light-walled rectangular (LWR) pipe and tube from Mexico.
The DOC has determined the following final dumping margins:
Productos Laminados S.A. de C.V (PROLAMSA) -- 5.73 percent (compared to a preliminary margin of 0.00 percent)
Maquilacero S.A. de C.V. -- 2.92 percent (compared to a preliminary margin of 4.96 percent)
Cooperative Respondents to DOC's Quantity and Value (Q&V) Questionnaire -- 4.33 percent (compared to 4.96 percent in the preliminary). These seven companies are: Arco Metal S.A. de C.V.; Hylsa S.A. de C.V.; Internacional de Aceros, S.A. de C.V.; Perfiles y Herrajes LM, S.A. de C.V.; Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos; Talleres Acero Rey S.A. de C.V.; and Tuberia Laguna, S.A. de C.V.
Non-Cooperative Respondents to DOC's Q&V Questionnaire -- 11.50 percent (unchanged from the preliminary). These five companies are: Industrias Monterrey S.A. de C.V.; Nacional de Acero S.A. de C.V.; PEASA-Productos Especializados de Acero; Tuberias Aspe; and Tuberias y Derivados S.A. de C.V.
All other Mexican Producers and Exporters -- 4.33 percent
The ITC is scheduled to vote in the final injury investigations of LWR pipe and tube from China, Korea, and Mexico on July 17, 2008.
