In October this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 18.5 percent compared to September and by 5.5 percent compared to October 2009, to 116,730 mt, valued at about $131.7 million, up 24.7 percent month on month.
Specifically, in October this year Ukraine exported 59,480 mt of seamless pipes - up 34 percent month on month, of which 27,470 mt were delivered to Russia, 6,800 mt were exported to the US, and 5,640 mt were shipped to Belarus.
Ukraine's exports of steel pipes of more than 406.4 mm outside diameter amounted to 27,810 mt in October - up 3.4 percent month on month, of which 22,340 mt were delivered to Russia, 2,290 mt were exported to Kazakhstan, and 1,430 mt were shipped to Belarus.
In addition, in October this year, Ukraine exported 29,440 mt of other tubes, pipes and hollow profiles - up eight percent month on month, of which 12,200 mt were shipped to Russia, 4,950 mt were delivered to Belarus, and 3,350 mt were exported to Poland.
In January-October this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports decreased by about 13 percent year on year to 1.01 million mt, valued at about $1.04 billion.
