Ukraine’s Naftogaz to use steel pipes supplied by Interpipe and Metinvest

According to tender results, Ukrainian state-run energy company Naftogaz will purchase steel pipes (electric-welded pipes, seamless pipes, tubing and drill pipes) worth a total of UAH 163.803 million ($20.3 million) supplied by Ukrainian producers Metinvest and Interpipe.

On May 4, Naftogaz signed a contract with Interpipe for the purchase of 4,476 mt of steel pipes worth UAH 95.93 million ($11.9 million), including 20 percent VAT.

In addition, on the same date Naftogaz signed a deal with Metinvest for the purchase of 2,463 mt of steel pipes worth UAH 67.872 million ($8.4 million), including 20 percent VAT.
