Ukraine’s Metinvest launches 20 new products in 2024

Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest has announced that it launched 20 new products manufactured at its subsidiaries in 2024.

All the new long products, including two new sizes and a new strength class for rebar, six types of wire rod made of various steel grades and in different sizes, hot rolled profiles for supporting mine working and round steel bars with a diameter of 27 mm, were launched at Kamet Steel. Kamet Steel has also commenced production of continuously cast square billets that meet higher quality standards. Zaporizhstal launched four types of CRC and two types of hot rolled products of S355JR/S355J2 grades with thicknesses of 2.75-2.79 mm, while Unisteel commenced production of S250GD-S280GD galvanized steel grades.
