Dneprovsky Integrated Iron and Steel Works (DMK), one of the leading steel producing assets in Ukraine, has announced improved production results for February this year.
According to the official statement, in February DMK produced 176,483 mt of crude steel and 178,970 of pig iron, exceeding the earlier set monthly targets by 4.2 percent and 5.1 percent respectively. On year-on-year basis, DMK’s crude steel output increased by 14.5 percent in February. In the finished steel segment, the company produced 62,574 mt in February, 11.5 percent higher than the earlier targeted levels, SteelOrbis has learned.
