Ukraine's Minister of Coal Industry Viktor Poltavets has stated that the country has prepared 22 lots, consisting of a total of 120 coal mines, for privatization.

The lots will be privatized via auction with the participation of both foreign and domestic investors.

Although the mines in question have low productivity levels due to the lack of investments, the volumes of their deposits are sufficient to sustain mining activity for several decades.
