Ukraine posts increased steel pipe imports and exports in January-April

According to the data for the first four months of the current year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 88.1 percent year on year to 609,660 mt, worth a total of $730.46 million. In April alone, Ukraine's steel pipe exports rose by one percent compared to March, reaching 156,420 mt.

In the first four months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 53.4 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe imports to 26,970 mt, worth $48.02 million. In April alone, Ukraine's steel pipe imports decreased by 21.8 percent compared to March, declining to 5,170 mt.
