Ukraine’s Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) has opened a new antidumping investigation into the imports of welded, non-galvanized steel pipes from Turkey, as announced on January 29 in the Ukrainian Official Gazette.
The investigation was initiated on the application of local steel producers Ilyich Steel, Zaporizhstal, DMZ Kominmet and Trubostal, alleging that the products in question were imported at dumped prices between 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2025. The applicants stated that, within this period, the import volume increased by 348 percent and 692 percent compared to local consumption and production, respectively.
