Turkish home appliance exports up 14.5 percent in July

Domestic sales in Turkey's home appliance market saw 10 percent year-on-year decline in July this year, totaling 571,110 units, according to the data released by the Turkish Home Appliance Industrialists Association (BESD).

According to the BESD's data, in July home appliance output in Turkey increased by 6.4 percent year on year to 1,867,726 units, with a month-on-month increase of 11.1 percent. In the month in question, Turkey's home appliance exports rose by 14.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and were down 3.75 percent compared to June, amounting to 1,377,793 units, while Turkey's domestic appliance imports in July this year totaled 86,318 units, rising by 22.4 percent year on year and up 7.5 percent compared to June this year.
