Turkey and UAE sign trade pact as relations strengthen

The UAE and Turkey have signed an agreement in Abu Dhabi that intends to double trade between the countries to $40 billion by 2028.

With the signing of this agreement, the economic and trade cooperation between two countries has entered a new phase. According to the details of the Comprehensive Trade Agreement, the two nations would implement an 82 percent decrease in customs duties and more incentives in their mutual trade. Moreover, the signed trade agreement also includes sectors such as agricultural technology, clean energy, logistics and construction.
