Trubodetal, a subsidiary of Russia-based pipe producer OMK Group, has announced that it has become one of the first in Russia to receive a certificate for complying with the "Safety of Equipment During Over-pressure" technical requirements set by the Customs Union (part of the Eurasian Economic Community).

The certificate enables the company to manufacture new kinds of products: parts, assembly units for pipelines, and steam traps for steam pipes at thermal power stations (with a maximum operating pressure of up to 25.01 MPa). The certificate allows the company to supply these products to companies across Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The certificate was issued by the All-Russian Science and Research Institute for Standardization and Certification.
