Tonghua Steel starts mass production of cold rolled silicon steel

According to Jilin Province-based Chinese steel producer Tonghua Steel Group, since it began trial cold rolled silicon steel production in August last year, its cold rolled steel mill produced a total of 41,000 mt of cold rolled silicon steel up to December 31, 2010. The new production indicates a step forward in Tonghua Steel Group's development of high value-added products.
