TMK’s Volzhsky Pipe Plant now able to produce 12-meter steel pipes

Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has announced that its subsidiary Volzhsky Pipe Plant has completed the scheduled capital repair of its pipe rolling shop No. 1, which included the reconstruction of main units and the replacement of obsolete equipment.

"There is an increasing demand from consumers for thin-walled pipes from 70 to 168 mm in diameter and from 11.5 to 12 meters in length. With the completion of the overhaul, Volzhsky Pipe Plant has the opportunity to produce pipes of greater length in almost all ranges of the shop," reads the company's statement.

Volzhsky Pipe Plant's pipe rolling shop No. 1 has a production capacity of 225,500 mt of pipes per year and is specialized in the production of general-purpose seamless pipes of 57-245 mm in diameter, bearing pipes of 56-181 mm in diameter, and OCTG of 102-178 mm in diameter.
