TMK to supply pipes for Power of Siberia pipeline

Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, has announced that it has started large diameter pipe supplies for the Power of Siberia gas transmission system being built by Russian gas monopoly Gazprom, with April shipments to reach nearly 28,000 mt.
 
The pipes are to be manufactured and shipped by Volzhsky Pipe Plant, and include 1,420 mm K60-grade steel pipes with wall thickness of 21.7 mm, external anti-corrosion coating and internal flow coating, operating at over 9.8 MPa. Throughout 2015 and the January-February period of 2016, the company plans to deliver 152,000 mt of pipe.
 
TMK will also supply RUB 12.6 billion worth of large diameter pipes in 2015-2016 for Gazprom.
