TMK supplies Lukoil with premium connections

Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has announced that it has begun supplying the biggest Russian oil company Lukoil with TMK GF and TMK FMC premium connections to be used in its oil fields located in Western Siberia.

Under the terms of the agreement, in November and December this year TMK Premium Service, in line with a cooperation agreement between TMK's premium division and oil and gas equipment producers AK Korvet and Tyazhpressmash, is to deliver 6,450 mt of premium connections to Lukoil.

The shipments will consist of 168.28 mm outside diameter (OD) Tagmet TMK GF casing of 8.94 mm and 10.59 mm wall thickness, of N80 grade, and will also include 244.5 mm and 324 mm OD Volzhsky and Seversky TMK FMC casing with wall thickness of 8.9 mm and 11.0 mm, of N80 and K55/J55 grades.

In 2009, TMK expects to ship a total of 8,200 mt of high-performance premium tubular products to Lukoil.
