TMK ships premium connection casings to Rosneft

The Russian pipe producer TMK Group has announced the shipment of the first batch of its casings with TMK-FMC premium connections to Russian oil company Rosneft to be used in the development of the Vankorskoye oil and gas field.
 
The supplied lot includes TMK-FMC premium threaded 177.8 mm casings with wall thickness of 10.36 mm.
 
The new tubular products were supplied by TMK to Rosneft within the framework of the long-term strategic partnership agreement between the two companies which was signed in February 2007.
 
In 2007, within the scope of the said agreement, TMK shipped approximately 95,000 metric tons of high-performance OCTG to Rosneft. In 2008, TMK expects to ship about 140,000 metric tons of its products to the Russian oil company.
