TMK ships LD pipe for South Iolotan gas field in Turkmenistan

Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, has announced that it has shipped longitudinally welded large diameter (LD) pipe to be used in transporting natural gas from Turkmenistan's largest gas field, the South Iolotan field.
 
TMK stated that 12,000 mt of the longitudinally welded LD pipe order placed have been shipped. The longitudinally welded large diameter pipe developed by TMK has increased levels of corrosion-resistant coating.
