TMK-CPW ships new pipes to Rosneft

TMK-CPW, a joint venture company between Seversky Tube Works (Seversky), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producer TMK Group, and Humbel Limited, a subsidiary of Greek pipe producer Corinth Pipeworks S.A. (CPW), has announced that it has shipped the first quantity of its new products to Rosneft Oil Company.

The delivered load consisted of 2,000 metric tons of 15 meter electric resistance welded (ERW) longitudinal pipes, with 325 mm diameter and 10mm wall thickness, made of low-alloy steel.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, TMK-CPW was set up in January 2007 in the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation to specialize in the production of electro-welded pipes of 168-530 mm diameter.
