Severstal’s Izhora mill to supply LD pipes to Gazprom

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that Izhora Pipe Mill, a part of its Russian Steel division, will supply 165,000 mt of large diameter (LD) pipes to Russian gas monopoly Gazprom.

The products will be shipped in the 2018-19 period for the development of the gas transportation pipeline in the northwestern region of Russia.

For the pipeline, Izhora Pipe Mill will produce large diameter pipes with a diameter of 1,420 mm and a wall thickness ranging between 18.7 mm and 32 mm.
