Severstal to supply pipe for Yamal LNG project

Russian steel producer Severstal has announced that its pipe and section mill Severstal TPZ Sheksna will supply about 3,000 mt of pipes in December this year for the natural gas project Yamal LNG. 

The pipes are made of low-alloy, structural steel, with diameters ranging from 159 millimeters to 325 millimeters, and with thickness of 5-8 millimeters. 

In 2015, Severstal TPZ Sheksna’s total pipe production for the project will be around 8,000 mt.
