Severstal’s Izhora mill to deliver pipes for Southern Corridor project

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that it will supply about 85,000 mt of large diameter pipes for the Southern Corridor project. The pipes are to be manufactured by Izhora Pipe Mill, a part of Severstal's Russian Steel division.

For construction of the Southern Corridor project, Izhora Pipe Mill will supply to its key customer Gazprom, Russia's state-run gas monopoly, 1,420 mm diameter pipes of K60 grade steel with internal and external anti-corrosion coating, designed for a working pressure of 9.8 MPa.
