Taiyuan Steel makes progress on bright annealed stainless sheet project

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co. (Taiyuan Steel or TISCO) has announced that it has commissioned the rolling mill within the scope of its planned cold rolled bright annealed stainless steel sheet production facility. The bright annealing furnace and pickling line for the project are currently under construction.

The annual capacity of high-quality bright annealed stainless steel sheet of the finished project will total 130,000 mt. Annual sales revenue is expected to reach RMB 200 million ($31.75 million).
