South Korea’s new car registrations up 13.3 percent in Jan-Aug 2025

In August this year, South Korea’s new car registrations rose by 0.8 percent month on month and by 22.6 percent year on year to 27,304 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, South Korean new car registrations grew by 13.3 percent year on year to 192,514 units.
