South Korea’s new car registrations up 12 percent in Jan-July 2025

In July this year, South Korea’s new car registrations declined by 2.5 percent month on month and increased by 23.3 percent year on year to 27,090 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the first seven months of this year, South Korean new car registrations grew by 11.9 percent year on year to 165,210 units.
