South Korea’s new car registrations up 0.5 percent in 2021

In December last year, South Korea’s new car registrations increased by 27.1 percent month on month to 23,904 units and were down 23.9 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the whole year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 0.5 percent year on year to 276,146 units.
