South Korea’s new car registrations down 22.5 percent in January-March

In March this year, South Korea’s new car registrations increased by 55.6 percent month on month and by 6.0 percent year on year to 25,263 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the January-March period this year, South Korean new car registrations declined by 11.5 percent year on year to 54,583 units.
