South Korea’s trade commission has announced that it has decided to extend the antidumping (AD) duties on Japanese imports of stainless steel plate as they continue to cause harm to the domestic steel industry.

The South Korean government will continue to collect 13.17 percent duty on Japanese stainless steel plate imports.

These tariffs mainly target Japanese steelmakers Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Corp., Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co. and JFE Steel Corp.
