The Korea Trade Commission will ask South Korea’s Ministry of Strategy and Finance to extend antidumping (AD) duties ranging from 3.56 percent to 15.39 percent on imports of stainless steel bars from Japan, India and Spain for three years, according to South Korea-based news agency Yonhap.

The news agency stated that the commission started an antidumping duty investigation on the given products in June last year to decide whether or not to extend the duties and the finance ministry is expected to make its decision by June 3 this year.

South Korea has been imposing antidumping tariffs on stainless steel bars from these three countries since July 2004.
