Shougang Shuicheng Steel produces 428,179 mt of crude steel in April

Chinese steel producer Shougang Shuicheng Iron and Steel Group has announced that in April this year its outputs of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel products respectively amounted to 395,774 mt, 428,179 mt and 412,310 mt, equivalent to 95.88 percent, 101.07 percent and 99.22 percent of the targeted outputs for the month. In addition, Shuicheng Steel's output of coke in April totaled 114,573 mt.

Among the steel producer's main technical indicators, its blast furnace coke utilization ratio in April was 354kg/mt, while its coal injection ratio was 164kg/mt.
