Shougang Jingtang produces low alloy X80 line pipe

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co (Shougang Jingtang) has announced that it has developed production of low alloy X80 grade line pipe at its hot rolling workshop, thereby increasing its product range and also helping to improve its competitiveness.

The raw material cost for production of the low alloy X80 line pipe is RMB 600/mt ($95/mt) lower compared with traditional X80 line pipe.
