Russia’s SMC Kolpino starts producing shipbuilding steel

Russia-based steel service center SMC Kolpino, part of Severstal Russian Steel division, announced that it has started production of shipbuilding steel.

SMC Kolpino, steel center for steel plate processing, recently produced and delivered to one of its customers the first batch of 170 mt shipbuilding steel.

Steel products of SMC Kolpino are used in manufacturing of hull structures of ships, and particularly the ships that are used in oil and gas industry.
