Russia-based Liskimontazhkonstruktsiya (LMK) will start to produce large diameter pipes in Russia's Voronezh region for the oil and gas industry. The new production lines will be supplied by a South Korean company and will be worth RUB 5 billion.

LMK expects to start production within 2017 with an annual output capacity of 120,000 mt. The high-resistant welded pipes will have a wall thickness of 60 mm, with a diameter ranging from 406 mm to 1,420 mm and a length of 12.2 mm.

The main consumers of the product will be Russia's major oil and gas companies such as Gazprom, Transneft and Rosneft.
