Russia issues January-November production results

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the first 11 months of the current year Russia registered a 2.2 percent decline in its rolled steel product output to 53 million mt, a 2.7 percent decrease in its crude steel output to 63 million mt and a 0.9 percent decline in its pig iron production to 45.8 million mt, all year on year. In the given period, Russia saw a 4.7 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 9.3 million mt.

In addition, in January-November this year Russia produced 23.8 million mt of metallurgical coke, down 3.6 percent year on year.
