Robert Bauer to take over as President and CEO of LB Foster

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based steel manufacturer, fabricator and distributor, L.B. Foster Company announced Monday that Robert P. Bauer has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective February 1, 2012. Most recently Bauer served as President of the Refrigeration Division at Emerson Climate Technologies.

Lee B. Foster, Chairman of the Board, stated, "Bob has a proven track record of increasing top line and bottom line growth within a lean organizational culture. In addition, he brings international as well as M&A experience that will be essential to LB Foster's future success."

Bauer will take over as CEO following the retirement of Stan Hasselbusch.
