Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), has stated that retail sales of passenger vehicles in China in June this year were better than expected due to sales promotion measures, the early Spring Festival holiday, and stimulus policies.
As of the end of June, inventory of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 3.43 million units, with inventory at producers accounting for 21.1 percent, 1.5 percentage points lower than at the end of May.
