Novolipetsk posts earnings for 2004

Russian steel producer Novolipetsk Iron & Steel Works (NLMK) announced net income of $1.77 billion for the 2004 fiscal year, up 2.7 times from fiscal 2003. NMLK's revenue amounted to $4.54 billion, indicating a year-on-year rise of 84%. Moreover, the company's assets totaled $5.165 billion, up 67% from the previous fiscal year.
